Negotiated Royalty payments (via a legally binding contract) on a product production basis. This may be by:

  • Cost per unit sold = 3.75% of ex-factory cost or
  • Based on profit = 3.75% of gross profit or 15% of net profit whichever is greater.

A retainer system can also be negotiated, if you wish. The standard fee is $650 per day.

We will discuss which option and details with you in advance.

The development fee will entitle you to the following;

  1. Unique and confidential development of the product;
  2. Complete formulation details, including ingredient listings with their appropriate percentages, a method of manufacture, required product specifications, and short term stability indicating tests.
  3. Samples of product for comparison.

Trial batches are normally 500grams but may be of less than 2 Kg size, or equivalent to a maximum of 10 samples supplied for evaluation. Should any larger amount of samples or samples of expensive nature be required then we will provide a quote for supply of larger/expensive amounts of trial samples. We will let you know in advance and additional charges will be discussed at that point in time. (see “Pilot Batch Production” below)

Note
This cost does not include those items listed under “StabilityTrials”.
Also the development schedule will vary depending on your specific requirements hence the quotation guidelines above are based on standard requirements and will be discussed at our initial meetings.
